Robert Arthur Murden of Kew, City of Boroondara County, VIC Australia was born in 1866 in Malmsbury to John Murden and Elizabeth Saddington Murden. He had siblings Samuel Murden, Thomas Ralph Murden, Mary Elizabeth (Murden) Denman, Ellen Martha (Murden) Holt, Albert Edward Murden, Elizabeth Emily Murden Evans, William Francis Murden, Edith Murden Westwood, and John Henry Wilmott Murden. He married Louisa Alice (Hooke) Murden in 1888, and had children Robert John Murden and Cyril Murray Murden. Robert Murden died at age 82 years old in 1948 in Kew.
