Robert Clarence Edmonds
I have an old studio photograph identified as Clarence EDMONDS which was taken at the Ellis and Goodwin Studio in Salt Lake City, UT in the 1890's. Clarence appears to be about 4 years old at the time the photograph was taken. Notes on the back of the photograph refer to copies of the photograph ordered by Mrs. R. EDMONDS who lives at 90 L Street. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Clarence and his family:
Robert Clarence EDMONDS was b. 1 Feb 1892 in Salt Lake City, UT to parents Robert EDMONDS (1849-1925) and Harriet Elizabeth or Rose FLOWERS or FLOWER (1856-1937) who were married in Salt Lake City, UT on 9 Apr 1875. Clarence was one of 6 children born to this couple including Alice Ann; Charles Frederick or Fredrick; Claudius James; John LeRoy; Robert Clarence; and Homer Flowers EDMONDS, all born between 1876 and 1899. Clarence married Helen C. WALLACE (b. 1892 or 1895) on 15 Jan 1916 in Chicago, IL and he died 21 Feb 1978 in Asheville, NC.
