    Obituary of Robert James Tyler (October 7, 1929 ~ February 29, 2012) Vancleave, MS ~ Robert James Tyler, 82, of Vancleave, MS died on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Mr. Tyler was retired from the US Navy and MS Power. He was a member of Lemoyne Baptist Church. Mr. Tyler is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Brotherson Tyler; wife, Alice Landrum Tyler; two sisters and six brothers. He is survived by one daughter, Ruby Provenzano of Vancleave; four brothers, Gary B. Tyler of Nashville, TN, Donald R. Tyler of Oneonta, NY, Allen H.S. Tyler of Daytona Beach, FL and Edward J. Tyler of Sun City CA; one grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren.
