Robert William Slocombe of Footscray, City of Maribyrnong County, VIC Australia was born on January 16, 1856 in Ballarat, City of Ballarat County to Robert Surridge Slocombe and Jane Dorn Slocombe. He had siblings Elizabeth Jane (Slocombe) Lemon, George Henry Slocombe, Walter Henry Slocombe, Eveline Ellen Slocombe, and Thomas Benjamin Slocombe. He married Elizabeth (Symes) Slocombe in 1880, and had children George Thomas Slocombe, Ada May Slocombe, Blanche Caroline Slocombe, John William George Slocombe, Leslie Robert Surriage Slocombe, and Lilliane Irene Violet Slocombe. Robert Slocombe died at age 88 years old on August 19, 1944 in Footscray, City of Maribyrnong County.
