Rowena M. Tyler | Visit Guest Book WEST STEWARTSTOWN -- Rowena M. "Dolly" Tyler, 87, formerly of Bristol, died Sept. 25, 2010, at Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Winchester, Mass., to Herbert and Jennie (Hannaford) Damon. She lived in the Boston area for many years and worked as a clerk for several Boston brokers. Later she moved to Bristol and worked for a number of years as a bookkeeper for Bank of New Hampshire. After retiring, she volunteered as a Senior Companion and at Bristol Community Services and Bristol Area Senior Services. She enjoyed handiwork, knitting and crocheting for family and friends. She looked forward to time spent with her family. Family members include one daughter, Judith Calhoun of Colebrook; three sons, William Cardeiro of Pensacola, Fla.; John Cordeiro of Deltona, Fla., and Robert Tyler of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Chapel of Holy Trinity Parrish, 2 West Shore Road, Bristol. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery, Bristol. Donations may be made to Bristol Community Services, North Main Street, Bristol 03222 or to Bristol Area Senior Services, Church Street, Bristol, 03222. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Emmons Funeral Home of Bristol.
