    I am the adopted daughter of Rev. Roy and Esther Milam who adopted me about 8 years after my biological parents died in an auto accident. Roy and my biological dad, George Wiedman served together as associate pastors at 1st Baptist Church, San Francisco. I have a lot of memories of Roy, including the time he got me to ride the Roller Coaster at San Francisco’s Playland at the Beach. He was a very patient teacher, teaching me how to drive. He also walked me down the aisle and then officiated at my wedding.

  • Obituary

    Rev. Roy Milam passed away peacefully at his home in San Bruno, CA on Sunday Jan. 30, 1994. He was a pastor in several churches in the San Francisco Bay Area including the founding pastor of the Westlake Community Baptist Church in Daly City, CA . He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Esther Milam (nee: Goodall). He is survived by his son, Stephen L Milam (Linda), his daughter Becky Dreger(Ed); grandchildren Annie and Elizabeth Milam and George and Ruthie Dreger.
