I am the adopted daughter of Rev. Roy and Esther Milam who adopted me about 8 years after my biological parents died in an auto accident. Roy and my biological dad, George Wiedman served together as associate pastors at 1st Baptist Church, San Francisco. I have a lot of memories of Roy, including the time he got me to ride the Roller Coaster at San Francisco’s Playland at the Beach. He was a very patient teacher, teaching me how to drive. He also walked me down the aisle and then officiated at my wedding.
