He had children Harold M Moore, Mannie Hoss Moore, Jo Ann Lambdin, Larry Earl Moore, Charles Edward Moore, and Jerry Reynolds. Ruben Moore died at age 75 years old in November 1979 in Williamsburg, and was buried on March 19, 1979 in Christian County.

His love for his family

Ruben was my grandfather.he lived with our family for a little while.he bought my mom her first electric clothes dryer when they first came out.he was a loving grandfather but he had a drinking problem that was hard to understand as a child.
