My Mother, Anna May Kreigh, was adopted by James Thadius Ashby and Ruby Clark. My Mother adopted name was JoAnn Ashby.

I have vague memories of Grandma Ruby. I remember her being very sweet and pleasant to visit. I had very little interaction with family and I remember calling her "My Favorite Grandma". I only visited with her under the age of 10. I presume that is when they moved to Oregon.

I remember driving from Reseda CA to Oregon to visit her and Thadius once. I also remember visiting her just before she passed, while in the hospital. I would have been about 9 years old. I remember being frightened by all of it.

I have LOTS of family pictures from a family album that was handed down to me by my Mother. I will upload as many photos as possible. If any family is interested, please email me at [contact link].
