She had siblings Sarah Martha Drayton, Margaret Elsie Violet Drayton, and Jessie Elizabeth Drayton. She married Clarence Bertram Fisher in 1926, and had children Laurence Fisher and Elizabeth Ward. Ruby Fisher died at age 78 years old on March 16, 1978 in Geelong.
