Rudolph Alvin Zettler 1857 - 1912

Rudolph Zettler was born on December 25, 1857 in Manitowoc, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin United States to William Zettler and Martha Lende Zettler, and had a brother John Zettler. He was in a relationship with Wilhelmina (Minnie) Grunberg Zettler, and had children Paul F Zettler, Louis Frederick Zettler, Amanda Zettler O'Brien, Emil J. O. Zettler, Alvina Zettler Kleven, and Louise Johanna Zettler Reeve. Rudolph Zettler died at age 54 years old on January 5, 1912 in Stratford, Marathon County, and was buried in 1856 at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Stratford.

    DIED AT STRATFORD. Rudolph Zettler an old and respected resident of Stratford, died at his home last Friday evening after a short illness, death being due to cramps. The deceased was fifty-five years of age and leaves a wife and eight children. The funeral took place Monday at Stratford and was attended by Mr. and Mrs. George Zettler and Mr. and Mrs. Ferdnand Bliesner of this city, George Zettler being a brother of deceased.
