    Mr. Rush C. Taylor, 82, of Greensboro, N.C., died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at his home. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Vanstory Chapel. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Rush was the son of Oscar T. Taylor, and was raised by Oscar's sister, Geneva and her husband, Mark Lewis. Mr. Taylor was retired from George W. Kane Construction. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Rhoda M. Taylor. He is survived by his son, Russ E. Taylor (wife, Theresa) of Kernersville; daughters, Judy T. Dyer (husband, Ira) of Oak Ridge, Charlotte T. Kearns of Reidsville, Rhonda T. Holder (husband, Ray) of Pinson, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, 4800 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27410.
