Ruth Lamb, Chief of Public Relations of the Department of Agriculture Food and Drug Administration, prepares what she calls her "Chamber of Horrors" for legislators in Washington D.C.
The legislators use her displays when discussing new consumer legislation. "It is composed of "before and after" pictures, showing how women have been disfigured by the unknowing use of dangerous cosmetics, death certificates and testimonials are side by side"
In 1937, there were no high tech presentations, just displays and boards!
