Samuel Henry Vallance
Samuel Henry Vallance was the son of Harvey Harry Vallance and Sarah J. Barney of Greenup Co., Kentucky. He was born 18 March 1840 in Greenup Co., Kentucky and died 25 Dec 1917 in Des Arc, Iron Co., Missouri. He married Malissa Ann "Mattie" Reynolds 19 March 1861 in Gray Branch, Greenup Co., Kentucky. They were the parents of nine children. Samuel fought for the Union during the Civil War with the 10th Kentucky Calvary. Samuel and Malissa are buried in the Rowland Woods Cemetery, Wayne, Patterson Co., Missouri.
