He married Ellen (Clarke) Wills, and had children Ellen Maud (Wills) Wilson, Adelaide Valentine ( Wills) Missen, Honora Lillian Wills, Honora Lillian Wills, Olive May Willis ( Wills, Richard Samuel Wills, Violet Jean (Wills) Flewin, Edith Mary Lilian Wills, Edith Mary Lillian (Wills) Beaton, Elizabeth Gerte Wills, Elizabeth Gertrude (Wills) Mayze, Charles Stanley Wills, and Alice Irene (Wills) Waterson. Samuel Wills died at age 71 years old on April 23, 1942 in Caulfield, and was buried on April 24, 1942 at Springvale Botanical Cemetery Princes Hwy, in Springvale.
