Sarah Ann (Daws) Black was born in 1853 to John Daws and Lydia (Allen) Daws. She married John Lawther, and they had children William Alexander Lawther, Walter Edward Lawther, Joseph Lawther, and Ada (Lawther) Logan. She also married Francis James Black, and they had children Lena May (Black) Phillips, Agnes Edwards, Arthur Black, Herbert Black, Hector Black, and Vincent Black. Sarah Black died at age 79 years old on September 28, 1933 in Mansfield, Mansfield Shire County, VIC Australia.
