At present ( 2015 ) Shirley is still living. This writer has had a chance to meet Shirley in person and because of her many years living in the south has a pleasant speaking southern accent in her voice. She wed on Feb.10,1940 in Nashville, Tn. to John Lathrop Tower, b. Apr.2,1916 in the U.S.A. & d. July 18,1997 in Ridgefield, Ct. They have 3 children.
