He had siblings William George Robertsn Moodie, James Edward Moodie, Mary Wilhelmina Moodie, Eliza May (Moodie) Edgar, Owen Robert Moodie, Katherine Charlotte Moodie, Charles George Gordon Moodie, Grace Eva Moodie, Murray Lewellyn Moodie, and John Richard Moodie. Stephen Moodie married Elsie May Johnson in 1926, and died at age 70 years old on July 26, 1949 in Coleraine.
