In 1969, he was 18 years old when on January 20th, Richard M. Nixon became the 37th President of the United States. Previously the Vice President to President Eisenhower, Nixon was the only President to resign in office - in his second term.

In 1974, at the age of 23 years old, Steven was alive when on July 30th, the House Judiciary Committee adopted three articles of impeachment against President Nixon.
