SUMMERS, STEVEN L. Born Dec. 11, 1946 passed away May 26, 2006 from lung cancer. He was born in Spokane, WA. To Edith and Donald Summers. Steven has two sisters Barbara Anderson and Anne Krebs along with numerous nieces and nephews. Steve served in the Navy for over 10 years in Viet Nam. After his injury he left the service and became an electrician and horse wrangler in Crestline, California. He was also an accomplished musician for many years playing and composing until his illness in March. His daughter Maria Cunningham is his only child and the pride of his life. Steve is also survived by his partner of twelve years, Susan Kramer-Freese, and her son ( his step-son) Johnny Freese. Services will be held on Thursday June 8, 2006 at 10:15 am in the Riverside National Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration of his life. We will miss his smiles, his laughter, and his love of life.
