  • Introduction

    He join ustashe beacause partisans burn his village and kill his wife, doughter, mom and dad. His son go to Croatian domobrans and he thought that he is dead. His second son escaped to Varaždin to his grandpa and grandma, when his village was burned. Stjepan want to kill partisans. He ended up in Bleiburg. He killed few partisans with his knife and tried to escape. They chaught him and convicted him to 6 years in jail Stara Gradiška beacause of anticommunist ravolution. He died with 51 years of problems with kidneys beacause in jail they beat him every third day.

In 1920, when he was 18 years old, on November 2, radio station KDKA began broadcasting in Pittsburgh, PA. This was the first commercial radio broadcast in the United States. Westinghouse, a leading manufacturer of radios and the backer of the station, chose the date because of the Presidential election. People liked it because they could hear about the results of the election between Harding and Cox before the morning papers arrived. Four years later, there were 600 commercial stations broadcasting in the U.S.
