His second son escaped to Varaždin to his grandpa and grandma, when his village was burned. Stjepan want to kill partisans. He ended up in Bleiburg. He killed few partisans with his knife and tried to escape. They chaught him and convicted him to 6 years in jail Stara Gradiška beacause of anticommunist ravolution. He died with 51 years of problems with kidneys beacause in jail they beat him every third day.
