  • Introduction

Taylor Cox was raised in Oklahoma, and worked as a scratch farmer, cowboy, beekeeper, and rodeo rider -- and probably other things as well. He married Eve Beardsley, and they had four children: Juanita, John Milton, Dorothy, and Glen Taylor (called "Junior" as a child). The family lived in or near Wye Community, in Arkansas. John Milton served in the military in WWII, in the Pacific theater, and Glen Taylor served in Korea before getting a degree in architecture. Late in his life, Taylor Cox moved to Middleton, Wisconsin, to live with his son Glen, Glen's wife Shelley, and their two daughters.
