  • Ethnicity & Family History

The Cowells were a decently normal family, however, Ted's grandparents were not the same. Bundy's grandmother suffered from depression and agoraphobia, his grandfather known to have a "Raging" temper (Source: ). Bundy's grandfather often had violent, cruel outbursts which were taken out on Ted. Some people who knew Ted personally in his younger years described him as a "girlie boy who didn't fit in, someone who burned a cat alive, laid knives around the bed of his aunt, and someone who loved to terrorize the neighboring children." Bundy thrived on terror and fear of others when he was younger, he loved to feel in charge or in control of others.
  • Early Life & Education

Ted attended Woodrow Wilson Highschool in Tacoma, Washington (Source: Ann Rule's 1980 true crime novel). Bundy switched Highschools in 1964, transferring to Silas High School in Tacoma, Washington for his last year of high school. Bundy graduated in 1965 and began studying at his first university, the University of Puget Sound also located in Tacoma, Washington. The media doesn't know exactly what he studied at UPS but it is known that he attended UPS from the end of 1965 to late 1966. In 1966, Ted moved from Tacoma to Seattle and began studying at the University of Washington. In 1968, Ted Bundy moved again to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to attend Temple University where he studied for a single year before moving back to Washington and returning to the University of Washington. He continued to study at UW for another two years. He then took a year break from college after leaving the University of Washington in 1972. In 1973, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend the University of Utah for his last year of college. Finishing his journey of education in 1974.
  • Professional Career

In 1968, Bundy attended the Republican National Convention as a delegate for Nelson Rockefeller (Former Vice President of the United States). Three years later, in 1971 Ted worked for a suicide crisis hotline. After graduating from the University of Washington (in 1968), Bundy pursued politics working for Washington governor Daniel Evan's re-election campaign and subsequently for Ross Davis (Head of Washington's republican party). These work connections helped Bundy get accepted into law school at the University of Puget Sound and later at the University of Utah. Its unclear to the media whether Bundy ever graduated from law school with a degree. In roughly 1974, Ted was a director at the Seattle Crime Prevention Advisory Commission (SCPAC) where he reportedly, wrote a rape-prevention pamphlet. Bundy also worked at Washington's Department of Emergency Services.
