She had a brother Thomas Giddon Southgate. She married Thomas Keith Huggins, and had children John Joseph Huggins, Keith Francis Huggins, Thomas Neil Huggins, and Gregory Allan Huggins. Thelma Huggins died at age 69 years old on March 7, 1973 in Apollo Bay, Colac Otway Shire County, VIC.
