    Born in Cork County Ireland. Married Susan Virginia Lawrence Byrne in New York, Daughter of Isaac Charles Lawrence and Ann Brady (née) Lawrence. Thomas Sr. Died of complications from diabetes. He was blind in one eye from some kind of gun shot and lost one leg from falling off a horse. In his later years he was confined to a wheelchair.
