    The Argus, Melbourne, August 1881. INQUESTS. KICKED BY A HORSE. The city coroner held an inquest at the Melbourne Hospital on Monday on the body of Timothy Simcock, aged 50 years, a horse dealer,...Kirk's Bazaar. accidently kicked in the leg by a horse. The Geelong Advertiser, 23 August 1881. A few days ago a man named Timothy Simcock sustained a severe kick from the stallion Merry Legs whilst he was examining the animal at Kirk's Bazaar, Melbourne, and his leg was fractured thereby. He was removed to hospital were he received every attention, but died late on Saturday night from the shock he received.
