Funeral services for Mr. Tommy W Freeman age 54 were held 2 pm Saturday Dec 6 in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev Greg Nichols officiating Burial followed in the Memorial Fade Cemetery in Tallulah Mr. Freeman died Friday Dec 5 1997 in the EA Conway Medical Center in Monroe after a lengthy illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Madison Parish and was a diesel mechanic. Survivors include his wife Edna Hoffman Freeman of Tallulah, one daughter Tonya Freeman Brewer of Tallulah, three sisters Rowena Johnson of Grand Prairie Texas, Ella Price of Vicksburg Miss, and Peggy Manuel of Gretna Miss and one brother James Freeman of Vidalia La. Pallbearers were Melvin "Red" Byrd, Keith Byrd, Larry Ghrigsby, William Johnson, Rusty Bedgood, and James Hoffman. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah was in charge of arrangements
