    I don’t want her to just be remembered by just a photograph. When & how she died. But that she was able to live a healthy lifestyle despite her having Down Syndrome. Her parents still loved her like their own child, her brother Werner still treated her like a sister. She was never treated as a “life unworthy of life” by her own flesh and blood.

Ulla was sadly murdered at Schwerin-Sachsenberg “Sanitarium & Nursing Home” (which was really a killing centre) on August 24,1943 at age 10. Just for being diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome
