Vernon Russell Mortimer 1891 - 1947

Vernon Russell Mortimer of Melbourne Australia was born in 1891 in Footscray, City of Maribyrnong County, VIC to Hamilton Mortimer and Minna Augusta (Streiff) Mortimer. He had siblings George Hamilton Mortimer, Eunice Olive Mortimer, Lesley Minna (Mortimer) Fraser, and Edward Lennox Mortimer. He married Violet Doherty Mortimer in 1912, and had children Vernon William Mortimer, George Henry Mortimer, and Lennox Mortimer. Vernon Mortimer died at age 55 years old on November 18, 1947 in Prahran, City of Stonnington County.
