Vincent Hutchinson 1886 - 1962

Vincent Hutchinson was born in 1886 to Vincent Hutchinson. and Louisa Isabella Hutchinson ( Schmidt, and had a brother Clifford Joseph Hutchinson. He married Emma Keighley Hutchinson ( Sawyer, and had children Joan Florence Lundberg ( Hayes ( Hutchinson and Abraham Vincent Hutchinson. Vincent Hutchinson died at age 76 years old in 1962, and was buried at Springvale Botanical Cemetery in Springvale, Greater Dandenong City County, VIC Australia.

  • Introduction

    The Talbot Leader, ( Vic. )January 1916. Mr. and Mrs. V. Hutchinson, Talbot, have recieved word from the Defence Department that their son, Private Vincent Hutchinson, is seriously ill, suffering from enteric fever. It is hoped he will have a speedy and permanent recovery. The Talbot Leader, 25 March 1916. SOLDIERS' LETTER. Private V. Hutchinson, writing to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. Hutchinson, Talbot Flat, under date 10th February, says he is well, and thinks he will soon be able to get back to his battalion. He says-"I am out of bed and walking on two sticks, but of course my leg is weak. I had thrombosis, and have now been four months bad with it and fever,........ I am in the Palace Hotel; it is the most beautiful place that ever I saw in my life, and contains 500 rooms. We get pretty well looked after here. Remember me to all Talbot friends."
