Mike was a solid citizen, husband and father. He had a lovely personality and always kind and helpful to others. He was an xray technician in the medical practice (orthopaedics) of his slightly older brother Elmer William Immermann,MD (whose name is erroneously listed as William in places.)
His father was an executive of the Balaban & Katz Movie Theatre chain in Chicago. His mother Susan was a kind person. She lost her husband and both of her sons to heart disease.
Mike's son died also of heart disease at 48
