Killed In Action - Died on the 7th August 1915 at 19 years of age fighting for his country in Gallipoli. He served in the 2nd light-horseman regiment. They were sent in to fight the Turks with rifles with bayonets and no ammo the NZ troops were supposed to flank the turks and were held up running late. The poms knew this but still sent the Aussies in anyway. They were lambs led to slaughter. He was a true hero!
