Faseler-Cates Marriage Is Announced
The following written by Mrs. E. P. Beaver (American-Statesman Staff) appeared in the Austin American-Statesman on Sunday June 7th 1936 on page 23:

GEORGETOWN, June 6. - Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Cates have announced the marriage of their daughter, Virginia, to Walter L. Faseler May 28 at 7 p.m., at the University Methodist church in Austin, with Dr. Edmund Heinsohn officiating. Attendants at the marrege (sic) were Miss Frances Dalley and R. L. Faseler of San Marcos.

Mrs. Faseler is a graduate of the Southwest Texas Teachers college of San Marcos. For the past year she has taught school at Leander. Mr. Faseler is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Faseler of Poteet. He is a graduate of the Southwest Texas Teachers college and a graduate student of the University of Texas. He is a member of the faculty of the Hull-Daisetta school system. Mr. and Mrs. Faseler will spend the summer in Austin.
