The inscription on William's grave says "US NAVY ABF3 PERSIAN GULF" According to public records, William lived in Jackson, Plainsboro, Wrightstown NJ and Fairless Hills PA. In the newspaper article about his suicide, it said that he was survived by his wife (no name). "Godown was last seen about 3:15 am when he walked out of his house. His wife called to report him missing about noon yesterday. Godown had worked at the prison since Feb 6 1993, a spokeswoman said." (The Philadelphia Inquirer Feb 10 2001, Sat)
