William Bates Riley of Horsham, Horsham Rural City County, VIC Australia was born in 1889 in Edenhope, West Wimmera Shire County to Joseph James Riley and Harriet Vance (Bates) Riley. He had siblings Elizabeth Margaret Riley, Maud Agnes (Riley) Dore, Ivan Reginald Riley, Gladys Ross Riley, Thomas Charles Riley, and Joseph James Riley. William Riley married Isabella Catherine McIntyre in 1920, and died at age 59 years old on March 14, 1949 in Horsham, Horsham Rural City County.
