He married Christina Mcnaughton Cameron, and had children William Cameron, Christina Cameron McDonald, Hugh Cameron, Margaret Cameron Hood, Duncan Cameron, Dugald Cameron, and Lachlan Cameron. William Cameron died at age 73 years old on July 24, 1901 in Cannum, Yarriambiack Shire County, VIC Australia.
