He had siblings Herbert Clark, Margaret Clark Beattie, Marion Clark, Allan Clark, Dorothy Irene Clark, Ethel May Clark, and Edwin Thomas Clark. He married Eva Violet 'Olive' Osbourne in 1915, and had children Floris Irene Clark and Gweneth Olive Clark. William Clark died at age 76 years old on October 25, 1969 in Ballarat, City of Ballarat County.
