    Argus (Melbourne, VIC) - Oct 23 1940 Text ".. The Friends or the late WILLIAM JOHN HANSON are Informed that his remains will be Interred in the Tylden cemetery. The funeral will leave Draston and Garsons chapel in Malvern at 1.15 pm and passing the Tylden railway station at 3.00 pm.”

In 1895, at the age of 33 years old, William was alive when on March 15th, in County Tipperary, Ireland, Michael Cleary killed his wife of 8 years, Bridget, and burned her body. His defense was that his "wife" was a changeling that was left in his real wife's place when she was abducted by fairies. He was nonetheless convicted and imprisoned for manslaughter. He spent 15 years in prison.
