    William Loice "Cricket" Jacobs was the son of William Thomas "Tom" Jacobs and Madgie Naomer "Omer" Craig Jacobs. On Nov. 15, 1936 he married Martha Irene Davis Jacobs. They were the parents of 3 children: William Donald Jacobs, Naomer Chloe Jacobs (Willis) and Shirley Fay Jacobs (Long). He was affectionaly known as Cricket most of his life. To his grandchildren, he was Grandpa Cricket to his sons children, and Kopa to my children. He was the best father and grandfather!!

William Loice "Cricket" Jacobs was born to William Thomas Jacobs and Madgie Naomer "Omer" Craig Jacobs on Oct. 23, 1912 in Limestone Co, Ala. The area then was called Wickham. He had one older brother, John Lester Jacobs and one younger sister, Lura Bell Jacobs. John Lester Jacobs died a young man of Diabetes in his early 30s'. William Loice Jacobs died May 3rd, 2003 . His sister Lura Bell Jacobs Partrick died March 21, 2004. William Loice Jacobs married Martha Irene Davis Nov. 15, 1936. They had 3 children, William Donald Jacobs, Naomer Chloe Jacobs and Shirley Fay Jacobs, Martha Irene Davis Jacobs died Dec. 24, 1970 at the age of 51 yrs. She was milking her cow and had a massive heart attack while at the barn milking.
