William Loice Jacobs was born to William Thomas Jacobs and Madgie Naomer "Omer" or "Oma" Craig Jacobs. He was born Oct. 23, 1912 and died May 3, 2003. Loice nick name was "Cricket". Loice married Nov. 15, 1936 to Martha Irene Davis. They had 3 children together. William Donald, Naomer Chloe and Shirley Fay. Irene died Dec. 24, 1970 while milking her cow in the morning time, before preparing her Christmas Eve meal. She had a massive heart attack. They worked together in the field growing cotton, corn and vegetable gardens.

William Loice "Cricket" Jacobs was the son of William Thomas "Tom" Jacobs and Madgie Naomer "Omer" Craig Jacobs. On Nov. 15, 1936 he married Martha Irene Davis Jacobs. They were the parents of 3 children: William Donald Jacobs, Naomer Chloe Jacobs (Willis) and Shirley Fay Jacobs (Long). He was affectionaly known as Cricket most of his life. To his grandchildren, he was Grandpa Cricket to his sons children, and Kopa to my children. He was the best father and grandfather!!


Anna Walker Harrison was the daughter of James Walker and Margaret Gray Walker. She married Benjamin Harrison. She and Benjamin Harrison had 3 children, Lorenzo Dow Harrison, John Harrison, and James Walker Harrison. After the death of Benjamin Harrison, Anna married Kinchen Pilant.


James Burgess "Jim" Davis was the son of Samuel Cox Davis and Martha Jane Burgess Davis. He married Willie Muggins Hendrix July 12, 1903. They lived all their married life in Limestone Co. Alabama. They had 9 children, 8 who lived. They were: Dewey, Iva Lee, Hayden, Nina Dee, Hettie Ree, still born son, Billy, Irene and Helen Davis. He died April 24, 1940 lacking 1 day being 63 years old. He is buried at Hester Chapel Cemetery in Limestone CO. Ala.


Willie Muggins Hendrix Davis was the daughter of William Carrol Hendrix and Ava Sarah Catherine Thomas Hendrix. She married James Burgess Davis July 12, 1903 in Limestone Co. Ala. They lived all their life in Limestone Co. They had 9 children, 8 who lived. They were Dewey, Iva Lee, Hayden, Nina Dee, Hettie Ree, baby boy stillborn, Billy, Irene and Helen Davis. She died at the home of her son, Hayden Davis on June 25, 1955 in Athens, Alabama. She was buried at Hesters Chapel Cemetery beside her husband James Burgess Davis. Also beside her is her parents and on the other side is her youngest daughter Helen and her husband. All of her children are buried at Hesters except for Billy and he is buried in Athens, Ala at Roselawn Cemetery.


Madgie Naomer "Omer" Craig Jacobs was the daughter of Reubin Miles Craig and Martha Susan Haney Craig. She married William Thomas Jacobs. They were the parents of John Lester "Gabel" Jacobs, William Loice "Cricket" Jacobs and Lura Bell "Sallie" Jacobs (Partrick). She lived in the Salem Community which was called Wickham in those days. She died at her home and was buried at Cunningham Cemetery beside her mother Martha Susan Haney Craig. Her son John Lester Jacobs is also buried there beside her.
