Martha Irene Davis (Jacobs) was the daughter of James Burgess Davis and Willie Muggins Hendrix Davis.On Nov. 15, 1936 she married William Loice "Cricket" Jacobs. They were the parents of 3 children: William Donald Jacobs, Naomer Chloe Jacobs (Willis) and Shirley Fay Jacobs (Long). On Christmas Eve morning in 1970 she and Loice were doing their morning chores and milking cows. She had a massive heart attack while milking her cow and died instantly. She was only 51 years old. Martha Irene Davis Jacobs was born June 29, 1919 in Limestone Co. Ala.
