William Pitchfork was born in September 1853 in Gringley on the Hill, Nottinghamshire County, England United Kingdom to George Pitchfork and Mary Ford, and had siblings Charles Pitchfork, Thomas Pitchfork, George Pitchfork, Henry Pitchfork, and John Pitchfork. William was baptized on September 23, 1853 at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church in Gringley on the Hill. William Pitchfork died at age 81 years old in April 1935 in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire County.
