William Rhesa Close 1816 - 1906

William Rhesa Close was born on September 8, 1816 in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana United States to Rev. Samuel J. Close and Deborah Lockwood, and had a sister Marinda Ann (Brundage) Close. He married Priscilla Long, and they had children Sherman Close, Anna Elizabeth Close, Erastus Close, Oliver Rhesa Close, Marinda Mead Close, Louisa Close, and Arthur Loveland Close. William's partner was Belinda Varnum (Smith) Close, and they had children William Lemuel Close, James Norman Close, Mary Frances Close, Benjamin S. Close, Napoleon Bonaparte Close, Sarah Parilla Close, Hettie Marie Close, Samuel D. Close, and Belinda Vernon (Close) Williams. William Close died at age 90 years old on November 28, 1906 in Neal, Greenwood County, KS.
