Zita Helen (Lojeski) Kozuhowski was born on April 27, 1939 in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania United States to Walter Marion Lojeski and Helen Cecilia (O'Biedzinski) Lojeski, and had a brother Walter John Lojeski. She married Thomas Ralph Kozuhowski in 1962 in Doylestown, Bucks County, PA, and they were married until Thomas' death on January 21, 2003 in Wellsboro, Tioga County. She had children Christopher Thomas Kozuhowski, Jacqueline Helen Braccia, and Kenneth Michael Kozuhowski. Zita Kozuhowski died at age 81 years old on June 19, 2020 in Warrington, Bucks County, PA, and was buried on June 25, 2020 at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery 1215 Super Highway, in Langhorne.

In 1939, in the year that Zita Helen Kozuhowski was born, in May, Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first full-length animated film, reached a total international gross of $6.5 million which made it (to then) the most successful sound film of all time. First released in December 1937, it was originally dubbed "Disney's Folly" but the premiere received a standing ovation from the audience. At the 11th Academy Awards in February 1939, Walt Disney won an Academy Honorary Award - a full-size Oscar statuette and seven miniature ones - for Snow White.
Did you know?
In 1960, at the age of 21 years old, Zita was alive when on May 1st, an American CIA U-2 spy plane, piloted by Francis Gary Powers, was shot down by a surface-to-air missile over the Soviet Union. Powers ejected and survived but was captured. The U.S. claimed that the U-2 was a "weather plane" but Powers was convicted in the Soviet Union of espionage. He was released in 1962 after 1 year, 9 months and 10 days in prison.
