No. 283-Walter Alves to Curd Cox-1809 Deed of Conveyance-400 acres on Bull Run in Lot E-for $500.00 After his participation as a Revolutionary War soldier in the Battle of Guilford Courthouse ca. 1780 (near present day Greensboro, NC), Curd Cox moved with his family to east TN. circa 1795. See Rev. War Pens. File S3169. This farm property was purchased by Curd & was not the result of a land warrant based on his military service. DCox-Halls Crossroads
