[NEWSPAPER: MARRIAGE: 1953, Boronia]
Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father F. O'Hanlon, P.P., uncle of Kathleen Joan Tilson, for her marriage
to Francis Xavier Boyle, in. the convent chapel of "Villa Maria," Boronia, on Easter Monday.

Rev. Father F. H. Harman, D.D., and Rev. Fathers J. Phelan and McMahon assisted at the ceremony.

The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Tilson, walked through the beautiful grounds of the convent to the
church on the arm of her father. She wore a lovely gown of Swiss embroidered organdie, fashioned in redingotestyle,
with a sunray pleated front panel, and the frock was trimmed with seed pearls. Her coronet, from which hung a
three-tiered finger-tip veil, was also edged with seed pearls and she carried gardenias and tuberoses.

She was attended by her sister Maria (Mrs. Ireland) as matron of honour, and Miss Edwina Jones as bridesmaid.
The groom's twin sisters, Margarita; and Santarita, were flowergirls.

The bridegroom, the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Boyle, of Burwood-road, Ferntree Gullv, had his brother Brian
as best man and the bride's brother, Frank, as groomsman.

The wedding breakfast, which was attended by 30 close friends and relations, was at "Villa Maria," Boronia.
The reception was held in the Ferntree Gully Shire Hall where 130 guests were entertained.
