Studio photos of Albert Comfort Ernst taken probably in Heavenor OK in the 1920s. My grandfather left a small leather Journal in which he describes a very interesting and nomadic life. Yet all of the documents I have found refute many of his claims. Was he trying to embellish a life he felt had been dull or did he actually engage in the activities and events he describes in the journal?
Where and when was it taken.

Thank you for your message. There is no mention of a McDonald in the journal but that does not mean they did not know each other. My Grandmother belonged to the Reformed Church of the Latter Day Saints. Do you know if your relatives were connected to this group in anyway? For the first time, I have noticed that the photo card says that it was taken in Caspar WY. This does corroborate at least one line in his journal.
Happy hunting,
Alice
