I suspect this child is a boy because he appears to be wearing shorts, not a skirt. However, don’t know enough abt French kids clothes from that period to be sure, or at what age boys got their 1st haircut.

I have a question and I hope someone has an idea.
Who saved these photos? It seems if their families were murdered who would have cared to save personal belongings?

My first reaction before reading the link about poor little Albert, was that this was a girl. Not because of the clothes or hair which we know was quite ambiguous at the time - but the jaunty way the legs are crossed. So sad.
How could a child so full of life be murdered like that. It just breaks my heart. 💔
