Amos Evans & Loraina Evans, Alabama 1932
The image is my grandfather, Amos Evans holding my mother, Loraina. The photo was taken in the 1930's on my grandparent's farm.
My grandparents were poor farmers in Alabama and their children all had to work in the fields instead of attending school. When harvest time was over, the kids got to go to school.
The Evans' children were and are: Loraina M. Evans (oldest and only daughter), Aubrey Lee Evans, Rayburn Evans and Kenneth Evans. Only Loraina and Kenneth remain.
People in photo include: Amos Evans and Loraina M. Evans
